We got great value for our money at Cwm Yr Afon Cottage. The room was cozy and had all the little touches that made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, tucked away in the middle of Snowdonia, and the hosts were amazing, always ready to help.

Breakfast items could be improved with more variety.

the 500, year, old cottage was beautiful, comfortable, and full of charm. It provided a real retreat, allowing us to recharge our batteries and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. the cottage had thick stone walls, keeping it cool even in hot weather. We felt right at home with the well, appointed kitchen, equipped with modern amenities like a dishwasher and washing machine. the location, though off the beaten track, offered stunning views and opportunities for walks. We highly recommend Cwm Yr Afon Cottage for a cozy country getaway. Cons: Nothing, everything was great! 😊.

Cwm Yr Afon Cottage is a hidden gem tucked away in the beautiful Snowdonia region. The cottage itself is cozy and charming with its 500-year-old history and comfortable amenities. The location is perfect for those seeking a peaceful getaway, away from the hustle and bustle of touristy areas. The surrounding views are breathtaking, and there are plenty of scenic walks to explore. The hosts were incredibly helpful and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. Despite a weak wifi signal and slightly limited kitchen supplies, our overall experience was fantastic. We left feeling rejuvenated and already planning our return trip. I highly recommend Cwm Yr Afon Cottage for a tranquil retreat in the heart of nature.

I absolutely loved the charming and traditional Welsh cottage that we stayed in. The decoration was delightful, with beautiful antique furniture and lovely touches that gave it a cozy and homely feel. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the cottage was well-maintained and accessible, making it easy for me to navigate and enjoy my stay. The general areas, including the garden, were well-kept and provided a peaceful and tranquil setting for relaxation.

If I were to ask for one thing to make the vacation even better for senior people like myself, it would be for the children working there to provide a bit more assistance in terms of carrying luggage or helping with any mobility issues. However, overall, I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this Welsh cottage to anyone seeking a delightful and peaceful getaway.

Our hosts were amazing, providing helpful assistance and ensuring our stay was perfect. The location was a true retreat, nestled in the heart of Snowdonia, offering peace, stunning views, and plenty of opportunities for hiking and exploring the beautiful surroundings. We couldn't have asked for a better getaway to recharge our batteries. We'll definitely be returning next year!

The hosts were nice and helpful, full of great suggestions on what to see in the area. The cottage had all the amenities we needed, like a fully equipped kitchen and a fireplace with free firewood. The location was amazing, tucked away in the middle of beautiful Snowdonia. We were able to hike right from the cottage and explore the stunning scenery of streams, lakes, and mountains. It felt like a true escape from the hustle and bustle.

The wifi signal was extremely weak during our stay, which made it difficult to stay connected. , the heating system was not controlled by us, so we had to rely on the fireplace and the provided firewood to keep warm.

Guests can enjoy the peacefulness and quietness of the location, with plenty of walks and outdoor activities available. The hosts are welcoming and accommodating, providing all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay.
